Born from thorough research into what makes cinema-goers "tick," the HDR-designed Boutique Cinemas at Event Cinemas George Street in Sydney are an imaginative and unprecedented approach to bespoke cinema experience design.

Intimate cinemas with a boutique vibe, each offers recliners and food service to the seat, while also having their own unique identity. The art deco style 46-seat “Paparazzi” cinema celebrates the glamour of the red carpet, a host of camera-wielding photographers with flash bulbs as a backdrop, making every guest feel like a celebrity. The 28-seat “Library” cinema pays homage to the art of storytelling and the many stories that come to life on the big screen. Inspired by cigar bars, Library is decorated with shelves of books bought from a closing Brisbane bookstore.
