An aviation lead with 17 years of transportation engineering experience, Sagar delivers sustainable and practical design of airfield projects that make best use of resources from a cost, constructability, design life and performance perspective. He provides airfield pavement design and quality control support for commercial airfield projects across the United States. In addition to his technical expertise, Sagar helps lead business development, client management and project management for aviation projects for teams throughout Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Sagar has been a part of more than 30 airfield design projects in just over two years with us, spanning a wide range of services from project and construction management to additional roadway and bridge decks. His areas of expertise include project management, client relationships, forensic investigations, specification writing, pavement evaluation, pavement management, pavement design and construction management. Sagar also brings experience representing and managing projects on behalf of state agencies and consulting firms.
No stranger to innovative projects, Sagar was part of our design and construction management team for the Blue Grass Airport Runway Rehabilitation project that recently won Airport Business magazine’s 2022 Project of the Year award.
An active member of the industry, Sagar is part of several organizations and regularly shares his insights through articles and technical papers. He serves as the Federal Aviation Association Advisory Circular Review Coordinator for the American Society of Civil Engineers Airfield Pavement Committee, and is also a member of the Airports Consultants Council Engineering Committee and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Maryland Transportation Committee.
