Grant Specialist and Principal Economist

Bruno is an applied economist with 18 years of experience. He specializes in the economic analysis of infrastructure projects and is skilled at economic and fiscal impact analysis, benefit-cost analysis and econometrics.

His diverse background includes economic impact studies for public and private organizations using tools such as IMPLAN, RIMS II and REMI TranSight. He’s also an expert in socioeconomic impacts for environmental assessments of transportation and energy projects. Bruno brings extensive experience in state government revenue forecasting, ridership forecasting and policy scenario analysis for transit agencies. Since 2009, he has contributed to nearly 30 Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant applications.

A continuing education advocate, Bruno has led training sessions on economic impact analysis, economic forecasting and presenting economic data.
