Elmira Hosseinkhani, Well AP
Laboratory Planner
A problem solver by nature, Elmira brings a designer’s mindset to complex challenges, illuminating issues of concern by connecting seemingly unrelated ideas and translating them into meaningful solutions. As a laboratory planner in our Dallas architecture studio, she brings this perspective to programming, early-phase planning and design strategy, where understanding how people, processes and environments intersect is essential to developing effective solutions. Passionate about creating healthy built environments, Elmira continually explores how architecture can respond to evolving human needs. She believes design should do more than solve today’s challenges. It should create new possibilities for how people work, heal, learn and interact with their environments.
With over a decade of experience in design and planning, Elmira’s work spans healthcare, laboratory and learning environments across the United States, executed through a variety of project delivery methods, supporting both renovation and ground-up projects.
She enjoys thinking through complex operational questions, exploring different approaches and using data to inform design decisions. She looks for the connections between operational needs, market patterns and the physical environment that can lead to better planning outcomes. Her analytical mindset, curiosity and interest in the broader direction of a project allow her to move between details and big-picture thinking, helping teams translate complex information into meaningful design decisions.
