James has 27 years of experience in natural resource and infrastructure projects, emphasizing state/federal permit coordination, wetland delineations, ecological assessments and restoration.

As a senior environmental scientist spanning 21 years, James has managed, supervised and participated in more than 400 environmental evaluations and wetland projects.

James works collaboratively with our clients, engineers, architects and other expert environmental scientists to help deliver creative solutions for the challenges that face today's infrastructure and natural resource conservation projects. He's passionate about building project teams of people inside and outside HDR to solve complex project challenges while minimizing environmental impacts.

As a professional wetland scientist and certified wildlife biologist, James looks for strategic opportunities to help our clients understand complex regulatory issues, find solutions that work for the natural resource, and confirm project compliance.
