Jeffrey Davis, AIA, OAA

Driven by a passion for architecture and the promise of higher education, Jeff helps institutions create environments that support discovery, innovation and academic excellence. His understanding of the culture, history and legacy of colleges and universities allows him to develop solutions that are tailored to the unique goals and challenges of each institution.

Based in our Dallas studio, Jeff approaches every project with curiosity, diligence and a commitment to research-driven problem-solving. He recognizes that successful planning and design require a deep understanding of the people, programs and aspirations that shape an institution. His experience spans both instructional and research environments, with specialized knowledge in laboratory planning and design, vivaria, advanced and additive manufacturing facilities, radiochemistry laboratories and research imaging spaces.

Throughout his career, Jeff has led the programming, planning and design of science, technology, engineering and mathematics facilities for colleges and universities, managing projects ranging from small renovations to complex capital investments. His background includes project management, consultant coordination, quality assurance and mentoring design professionals, helping clients navigate challenging requirements while creating spaces that support research, collaboration and future growth.

An active contributor to the science and technology planning community, Jeff has presented at multiple Tradeline conferences and the Texas Council of University Facilities conference. Through these presentations, he has shared insights on STEM facility planning, research program consolidation, renovation and expansion strategies, and space utilization assessment, helping institutions make informed decisions about their research and academic environments.
