Leveraging nearly 30 years in the industry, Joe focuses on combining our diverse aviation technical capabilities with our client-focused approach. He builds multidisciplinary teams who can provide specific services to meet underserved demand throughout the industry. His responsibilities include company-wide development, coordination, monitoring and improvement of our services, and project delivery in response to current trends.

Joe is passionate about transforming our clients’ new infrastructure ideas into reality and helping guide them through the implementation process. He gained expertise and first-hand experience on a broad range of aviation design projects, including pavement evaluation; concrete and bituminous pavement design; rehabilitation and de-icing collection system design. His experience also extends to construction management and program management for airfield runway, taxiway and apron pavements, roadway pavements, drainage systems and airfield lighting systems. Within the past 10 years, he employed his extensive knowledge as the program, project and design manager for three multi-million dollar military airfield projects. In addition, he led more than 10 multi-million dollar commercial airfield projects.

Recently, Joe was a key team member for a runway project in Columbus, Ohio, which deployed the first runway in North America lit entirely by light-emitting diodes (LED). The project earned the Airport Council International – North America’s Environmental Achievement Award — becoming the first airfield project to ever win this award.

Regarded as a leader throughout the aviation industry, Joe is an active participant in the Airport Consultants Council, Airports Council International, the American Association of Airport Executives and the American Society of Civil Engineering.
