Kurt is a respected professional engineer with forward-thinking renewable energy goals. He supports clients worldwide in the feasibility, design and construction of solar photovoltaic projects, battery energy storage systems, microgrids and heavy-duty transportation.

With 24 years of experience, Kurt navigates intricate solutions, overseeing plans, permits, procurement and development. His portfolio features more than 80 utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects in the U.S., Canada, Singapore, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Australia. 

As a technical due diligence advisor, Kurt’s supported more than $1 billion of successful North American renewable energy project acquisitions. He’s authored several papers and posters that were presented at leading industry conferences. The Resilient Cities and Meaningful Metrics Catalyst competition has recognized him as a “Relentless Innovator.” 

Kurt holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
