A strong leader and communicator, Rob works closely with our multi-disciplined teams, often simultaneously on concurrent projects. His management style is centered around a team-oriented focus on project delivery coupled with individual accountability and understanding of scope, schedule and budget from the start. A successful project manager on efforts of all sizes, Rob delivers solid results, both from a financial performance and client satisfaction standpoint.
A highlight was the Los Angeles World Airports - LAX Automated People Mover, for which Rob led 12 design teams and several sub-consultants to deliver the structural analysis and final design of the elevated APM guideway. The post-tensioned concrete structure consists of multiple frames with highly variable geometry including span lengths, bifurcations, high curvature and variable depth superstructures.
Rob was also recently honored to participate as a judge in the 2020 AISC Prize Bridge Awards.
“This was a fantastic and daunting experience and I am so thankful to have been a part of reviewing the incredibly impressive body of work produced by highly skilled bridge design professionals.”
