Transportation Planning Lead

As our transportation planning lead for the Northeast, Shyam oversees a diversified portfolio of corridor and program planning, advisory services, transit system redesign, and planning for freight, aviation, ports/maritime, and passenger rail across New England, New York–New Jersey, and Pennsylvania–Ohio–West Virginia.

He brings more than two decades of experience working across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to advance high-impact transportation investments that strengthen economic competitiveness and urban livability. His approach to the work blends technical analysis, compelling storytelling, and facilitative leadership. 

Shyam’s portfolio includes corridor-level system plans, capital development strategies, transit asset management, and multimodal program frameworks for agencies in Washington D.C., Austin, Philadelphia, Atlanta, San Francisco and Miami.

A frequent facilitator of economic development strategy, Shyam’s work also spans the intersection of transportation, land-use, and market forces — including leading transit-oriented development and economic impact analyses for catalytic projects.
