As the global director for civic architecture, Jim leads the business and program development for the civic market sector which includes a commitment to design excellence, regenerative and net-zero building design, team and staff development, and quality and financial performance. He is committed to delivering design excellence projects that are affordable, maintainable and sustainable.
What drives Jim more than anything is developing unique solutions for our clients’ complex problems — ultimately producing remarkable public spaces, buildings and experiences that are safe, sustainable and that meet our clients’ visions.
Jim has 30 years of experience in the planning, design and construction of multiple building and project types. His portfolio includes: transit, aviation, historic preservation and restoration, private development and transit-oriented development, housing, civic, healthcare and education.
One of his most notable experiences took place during over a decade of work on New York’s award-winning Fulton Center Project, which involved rebuilding the transportation infrastructure at ground zero in post-9/11 Manhattan.
