HDR has been recognized as a Star Tribune Top Workplace for 2022 in the Twin Cities metro area, announced on June 19, 2022.  Selection was based solely on employee feedback measuring engagement, organizational health and job satisfaction.

This is the second time HDR has appeared on the Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces, as well as the highest-ranking architecture-engineering firm in 2022. Of the more than 11,000 global employees, nearly 275 employees work in HDR’s three Minnesota locations.

“It is such an honor to be named a 2022 Top Workplace! Our Minnesota team didn’t just survive the pandemic but thrived,” said Christine Wiegert, vice president. “HDR’s Minnesota offices saw 50% growth in the past three years, providing opportunities for our employees to serve new clients and take on new challenges.”

Minnesota teams have pioneered several outstanding local projects, including the I-35W@94 Downtown to Crosstown strategic engagement, METRO C Line design, and our own Minneapolis Design Studio.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces list is compiled based on employee surveys of nearly 400 companies. Any organization with 50 or more employees in Minnesota can participate, whether they are publicly traded, privately owned, nonprofit or government agencies, and awards are given for small, medium and large employers.
